Director's Message

Early childhood education is about honing and moulding the holistic child. It lays the firm foundation of life long learning. Children are stepping out of their homes and entering the school for the first time. It is necessary to make them feel happy & secure.

Ganga Gurukulam Play School offers a happy learning environment to the young learners. We would like to see our young children shape up as confident learners. We allow them space to grow, to play, to learn and to interact. We want to give them freedom to fly high on the wings of imagination and creativity but remain deeply rooted in human values.

We believe in imparting values from an early age. We nurture different values through interactions, enactment and stories. Children are encouraged to engage in creative play and expressive activities. Children enjoy learning about values through fun activities, songs, dance and celebrations. Children learn by example. Teachers act as role models demonstrating qualities of love, honesty, respect, gratitude, generosity and humility, which they want the children to pick up.

I am happy Ganga Gurukulam Play School has successfully generated a child friendly environment and imparted values to the children which will stay with them for life.

Our Vision

To build a centre of learning where the child's hidden potential is brought out by a dedicated team of teachers enabling him to evolve into a cultured and creative human being, well equipped to play a rightful role in the progress of the nation. This centre will become the nucleus for the growth of similar light houses of knowledge.

All children posses a deep and natural curiosity to explore and understand the world around them. Ganga Gurukulam Play School nurtures each child's innate curiosity by providing a carefully prepared environment that strikes the child's imagination to reveal the individual potential that lies within the human spirit.

Ganga Gurukulam Play School offers each child the experience of individualized and co-operative learning to foster independence, confidence and above all a life long love of learning.

“OUR CHILDREN, OUR FUTURE”
Our motto reflects our deep faith that children are the most precious gift of God, nature’s most beautiful creation, and the real wealth of any nation. They must be nurtured with utmost love and care.
"We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one's own feet."
Swami Vivekanand

ACADEMICS

CREATIVE LEARNING

“Children are not vessels to be filled but lamps to be lit.”

We have self designed workbooks for pre-primary level, using an informative approach to make learning exciting for the children. The workbooks are well planned and developed in a systematic manner. They cater to the natural instinct of a child to learn more.

These workbooks help to promote and develop different skills like-Sensorymotor, Cognitive, Observation & Recognition, Vocabulary, Language etc. They help to create a positive attitude towards learning.

EVALUATION SYSTEM

The curriculum is framed through an innovative combination of classroom activity based learning to develop a whole range skills, aptitude and abilities that help children to explore, discover and excel.

GGPS ensure every child's success by adopting continuous comprehensive evaluation. We believe that assessment should be done in a flexible and a friendly manner.

We assess the young learners in a creative way. Our approach is through observation, orals and written worksheets. Diverse skills will be developed through different indoor and outdoor activities.

LIBRARY

It has been highly quoted that "books are your best companions". By introducing the concept of ‘Home Library', the children were set free to explore the whole new world of books.

Children learn to handle new books carefully and also get satisfaction of learning new concepts through the books. It also helps them to increase their strength of vocabulary. It also enhances their imagination, makes the children confident learners and increases their reading ability.

Stories play a vital role in the growth and development of children.

Stories are a great way to introduce new words and ideas into a child's language. Stories help children to learn about concepts such as shape, size, coloring etc. Children learnt to deal with their fear of day to day problems and also understand the feelings of others. It also helps to inculcate the important aspect of 'sentence framing' in English language.

Keeping these entire objectives in mind the school has introduced 'Home Library’.

Last but not the least; it will help them to deviate from electronic gadgets.

General Instructions for handling books:

  • Books will be given on Friday and to be returned on Monday.
  • Return the book on time. In case child loses or damages the book, he/she has to replace the book.
  • Keep hands clean and dry while reading book.

New-Age Learning That Empowers Young Minds For The Future

E-learning is an essential part of our teaching, as it is a way to provide quick delivery of lessons. As compared to traditional classroom teaching method, this mode has relatively quick delivery cycles, which indicates that the time required to learn is reduced from what is required in traditional learning.
